The supplier awards recognise support for channel partners in identifying opportunities, specifying the correct solution and helping them deliver the solution to meet the customer expectation. These awards are not focused on products. This is about channel support in all its aspects, including effective reseller programmes, technical and sales support, account management and ease of doing business.
NB: These awards are for suppliers to the indirect channel and will require written reseller testimonials

Service Provider of the Year
This award is for hosted service providers, ISPs and aggregators. Judges will be looking for demonstrations of a service provider's ability to identify new market opportunities and help resellers to effectively deliver the solutions. Technical and sales training as well as support, incentives, account management, reliability and ease of doing business will be important elements of the submission.
Carrier of the Year - Fixed Line
This category is for major fixed line operators and will recognise the carrier that has proactively helped resellers to grow their businesses through the move to a high margin converged environment. A carrier's reliability, technical & sales training and support, incentive schemes, account management and ease of doing business will be important elements of the submission.
Carrier of the Year - Mobile
This category is for mobile operators and recognises the most successful channel strategy designed to give traditional communications resellers a lift into the converged mobile data environment. Judges will be looking for demonstrations of a mobile operator's technical and sales training as well as support, incentive schemes, account management, ease of doing business. The development of resellers' skills in Unified Communications, solution selling and service provision will also be important elements of the submission.
Telephony System of the Year
This category is for hardware and software manufacturers of IP PBX and soft PBX telephony solutions. Resellers will nominate vendors that have helped them to grow their businesses by identifying market opportunities and ‘hand-hold' them in delivering solutions with proactive technical advice, sales support and account management.
Software Application Suite of the Year
This award is for providers of software applications that give customers enhanced communications management across their ICT environment and will include call logging and reporting, call handling, marketing on hold, contact management solutions, billing software, CTI solutions and call recording. The support provided to resellers in selling these added value solutions will be important elements of the submission.
Peripheral Product of the Year
This award is for providers of peripheral products that give customers more effective and efficient communications across the ICT spectrum and will include headsets, GSM gateways, operator modules, faxes, conference units, UPS solutions, door entry systems, anti-nuisance devices etc. The support provided to resellers in selling these added value solutions will be important elements of the submissio.
Distributor of the Year - Voice/Convergence
This category is for communications distributors operating in the converged business telecoms market. Distributors will have to demonstrate how they have helped resellers grow their businesses through identifying market opportunities, supported by effective logistics, technical & sales support, incentive schemes, finance facilities, account management and ease of doing business.
Distributor of the Year - Mobile
This award will recognise mobile distributors that have helped resellers grow their businesses through identifying market opportunities, supported by effective logistics, technical & sales training and support, incentive schemes, finance facilities, account management and ease of doing business.
Installation/Maintenance Provider of the Year
Without first class maintenance and support services a minor technical problem could cause enormous problems for resellers. This category is for channel organisations that offer third party maintenance and white label installation support across a range of unified communications products. Demonstrations of on-line diagnostics, fault reporting and fault-to-clear commitments will be an important part of the submission together with examples of partnership success stories.
